Meaning & Significance This shloka is a powerful invocation of the divine energies that reside in Kashi:

  • विश्वेशं (Vishweshwara): Lord Shiva, the Supreme deity of Kashi, revered as Kashi Vishwanath.

  • माधवं (Madhava): Lord Vishnu, the eternal preserver who shares his divine presence in Kashi.

  • ढुण्ढिं (Dhundhiraja): Lord Ganesh, the remover of obstacles, blessing devotees at every step.
